Available The six steps were rehearsed from the public documentation on a clean install by an agent that did not build them, with no engineer repairs (internal rehearsal, September 2026; QGIS and the two-person run on macOS were not part of it).

    Bring in a well log and associate it with its wellbore, with evidence.

    Read exactly

    Inspect its context and read exact versions in Python.

    Publish

    Publish a result whose provenance anyone can inspect.

    Reuse

    A colleague finds and reuses it; an unrelated user is refused.

    Refresh

    A source change is detected and refreshed explicitly without altering completed work.

    Reopen it in a desktop tool, export it independently and restore the shared chain.

Curve correction and reuse

  1. Import a well log and associate it with its wellbore.
  2. Read the exact version in Python and correct it in your own code.
  3. Publish the result with its inputs; share it to reuse.
  4. A colleague builds on your exact version; an unrelated person is refused.

Interpretation hand-off

  1. Publish tops against the exact log version you picked them on.
  2. Share them to reuse with the next interpreter.
  3. Their work names your version; your later edits do not change it.

Keeping up with a changing source

  1. Connect a PostgreSQL wells table read-only.
  2. The source changes; Ophiolite detects it and says what changed.
  3. Refresh explicitly; completed work keeps the version it used.
