Start where your science starts.
The ResInsight source pilots capture supported scientific data and publish understandable, versioned assets.
Curves and scalar maps.
The existing well-log pilot uses LAS data with source polling, stable identity and a publication journal. The visual pilot exports a numerical contour map from an authored synthetic PORO grid.
Scalar-map export represents a selected property and aggregation. It does not reconstruct the original three-dimensional reservoir or its cell topology.
Explicit source boundaries
- Publication detects supported numerical changes, not every application gesture.
- Mapping records known identity, units, source details and coordinate uncertainty.
- Exported text can round values. A successful transfer is not evidence of source-double precision.
- Arbitrary native write-back and full edit history are not implemented.
